Event Description

This is an intensive course that prepares Princeton staff in any role with an interest in disabilities and improving accessibility, to take the International Association of Accessibility Professionals' Certified Professional of Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) certification exam. It also focuses on applying concepts in the Princeton context.

The CPACC is a foundational, non-technical credential, representing broad conceptual knowledge of disabilities, challenges and assistive technologies; accessibility and universal design; key accessibility-related standards, laws, and management strategies.

Participants will follow a self-guided online course then meet for three instructor-led sessions. The online course will open on:

  • May 15

Instructor-led sessions will be held via Zoom on three successive Thursdays from 10 AM - 12 PM, then 1 PM - 3 PM:

  • June 8
  • June 15
  • June 22

Classes will be followed by a group lunch and optional study sessions. The program will end with the certification exam, to be scheduled on dates between July 19 - August 16.
