Event Description

Digital accessibility is the ability of a website, app, electronic document, or event to be easily navigated and understood by a wide range of people, including those who have disabilities. This class provides an introduction to the topic along with several best practices and helpful resources.

With the class being held in-person once again, we welcome back our colleagues from the New Jersey Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired! They will demonstrate and compare the experience of an accessible versus an inaccessible website, using a screen reader. They will also provide a number of assistive technologies so participants can explore them up close.

To register, please visit the Employee Learning Center.

If you require an accommodation to participate, please email your request to [email protected] at least a week in advance.
