This training prepares Princeton staff in technical roles to take the International Association of Accessibility Professionals' Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) certification exam.
WAS is a technical-level credential covering the design, code and testing needed to produce accessible websites and applications – things we must do, but that may not be obvious or intuitive. This will be most useful for anyone with “under the hood” roles – design, HTML, CSS or JS.Note that advanced coding skills are not a prerequisite; the material is quite technical, but in a conceptual way.
Participants will follow a self-guided online course, then meet for weekly study sessions, on either Wednesdays at 12 PM or Fridays at 11 AM.
The course is open to Princeton University staff only.
This class is currently FULL. If you are a staff member interested in joining a future cohort, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
