Aira Is Available for Free on Campus

Thursday, Jan 2, 2020

Visitors and all members of the campus community have free access on the central campus to aira, an augmented reality technology for people who are blind or have low vision. Users download a free app to their Android or iOS phone, and use it to contact a live agent who describes the visual field for them. Aira operates as a personal guide who is available on demand. Members of the campus community and visitors may use the service free of charge while on campus. Details on how to use the service can be found on the aira website.
