Share on Twitter Share on Facebook Share on LinkedIn Nov. 20, 2023 All departments have a responsibility to ensure that the websites and other information technologies they provide to students, faculty, staff and the public are usable by people with disabilities. The updated Policy on Digital Accessibility states that "academic and administrative units conducting core educational or administrative activities are required to align websites and other information technology with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 Level AA to promote digital accessibility for students, employees and / or the public." The Digital Accessibility Program provides tools and services for staff across departments to help their departments meet the policy. Tools including the SiteBuilder platform, automated and manual testing, along with services including a wide variety of training classes and consultations support the institution in meeting its goals of making information technology inclusive and welcoming.
