I’m so excited to be pursuing this certification and this experience has been very informative and has given me another perspective on accessibility. I feel very strongly about using my skills and knowledge to be an asset to help and connect with others and having this kind of certification is definitely helping me to achieve that goal. I think there is still a lot of work that needs to be done to make sure that people with disabilities are treated fairly and afforded opportunities as everyone else. My hope is that including my own voice in this conversation and sharing my experiences with other people might influence the people around me to be more aware and consider accessibility as part of their professional and personal lives.
